KJ's life: born in Fairbanks AK; family moves to Buenos Aires when he's 12. Becomes part of the NY music scene as a house band @ CBGB, stays in NY for 10 years, then moves back to BA with his wife and his band (The Nada), & becomes an Argentine rock star. He's bilingual, a great songwriter and musician, and has the rare ability to capture the hearts of English and Spanish speaking people equally. (There's a YouTube vid of him singing 'livin it up at the Hotel Patagonia' [sic California] that gives an insight into how tongue-in-cheek, 'nuts' he is. Contrast that with his acoustic cover of Bowie's "Modern Love" and you'll glimpse his willingness to go anywhere.) I'm getting back into the Spanish language because of his music.
