I bought this in the past and loved the cards and the book. But for the same price now the book is the size of a deck of cards and the print is so small I can barely read it. Plus now there's no pictures in the book. What a rip off.La calidad no es tan buena, siento que son muy frágiles, pero sus colores son hermosos y son fáciles de barajar..Oh Osho...what a cool deck! Arrived on time and as promised. Cardstock is a bit...thinner than say a Universal Rider Waite deck HOWEVER they can hold up in terms of shape after a year of shuffling. What wears off quickly is the black bordering. For me...that isn't a huge deal because what makes up for that are the colorful detailed images and the astounding book that is provided with the deck. I use this deck for spiritual and reflection spreads. All the readings I have done with this deck are spot on when identifying a person's inner struggles and virtues in a situation. I use this deck a lot on myself as well and it's just an overall positive and peaceful deck to work with even when you get "negative" cards.I don't know why they make this harder than it really is. This said it was just the cards and was $40 something. I got just the Zen book and it was $25. The book had cards and they were matt finish not slippery and of good quality. These that cost more are misprinted silk finish and already scratched up. I gave it a chance despite the review and I made a mistake. Just go look for the one that's just the book it has cards in it and it's a nice qualityI can second that this deck isn't genuine. Also, in my case, some cards were damaged (back partly ripped). I had the original deck from more than a decade ago and the card stock is different (flimsier) and the colors are off. Not the real deal. First experience with a counterfeit deck though.Haven't had time to really use the Tarot Book and Deck. Both items are like brand new, and I'm sure I will like what is presented.These are beautiful cards. They just didn't do anything for me. When working with cards, it's important that you "feel" something when using them. I didn't get anything from these cards.This deck is smaller than the previous one I had but still provides the same exemplary spiritual guidance you are looking for in a reading!A lot of unfavourable reviews notwithstanding. I went for this deck on a whim. Keeping my expectations low given the price and the general impression from the reviews.I was in for a surprise. Yes the book is a little hard to read. But it carries a lot of great insights. I love that.The cards. Love the backing. But I was bummed to find about 10 odd cards in a lighter hue and the rest darker. Not a deal breaker for me at this price. (Around 600/-). The cardstock is completely alright with me. Thick yet moderately flexible.The artwork. Whoa! Loved it to bits! Full of evocative symbology. And actually beautiful too. Not just clever.There are no inconsistencies in the quality of the deck other than the issue with the backing in a few. At least as per my copy.I've decided to shoot pictures of the pages bit by bit and refer to them instead of the book. Easier to read.But for this price? This version is a great deal for this internationally acclaimed and widely popular deck.Osho Zen Tarot doesn't follow traditional tarot much, but maybe that's what you'd expect. Traditional tarot lays out more specific and grounded answers like looking back at the past, competition being an issue, poverty or boredom occurring as examples of what it does. Osho's tarot on the other hand takes on a more spiritual and less definite approach - it has cards like sorrow or compromise or harmony or possibilities - it opens out your questions rather than answering them definitely. The joy of using these cards is that the readings that go with each card are beautiful. If you're wondering whether to buy these rather than traditional tarot I'd ask myself what I wanted them for - divination or inner spiritual knowledge. The cards themselves are not my taste in images but then I like proper art.Part 2: The quality of the card is cheap a pity for such a beautiful deck.Original : I was going to give three starts rating to this tarot deck but the fact that is really beautiful makes me reconsider and give the 4 start rate that truly deserve. The only criticism is that the companion book's font writing is ridiculously small. But as I said beautiful deck indeed.If you only ever buy one pack of tarot/guidance cards in your life.... make it this one!Bought as a present for a friend to replace previous pack eaten by her dogs. Lovely cards.
