Product Description Zen Darlings was formed during the summer of 2000 by former Sourball frontman and songwriter, Mike Datz. After initially writing and recording new material, the band began playing shows in the fall of that year. The lineup consists of Datz on vocals and guitar, Matt Walker (formerly of Cupcakes) on drums, Robert Byrne (Dovetail Joint) on guitar and vocals, and Matt Federman on bass and vocals. According to Datz, 'This was a chance for me to indulge my pop sensibilities and write the kinds of songs that I would actually want to hear on the radio.'
