It's not a bad smell, but it is very different than the traditional Zen. It has a sharper, more forceful smell. The traditional Zen has a pleasant and sweet smell that naturally blends in with the surroundings. "Too much" of the traditional Zen would not be a bad thing, and it would be tolerable. This one has a commanding scent that demands to be recognized and acknowledged. Again, it's not a bad smell, but I find it to be a little obnoxious. I feel like this one would easily be considered "too much" and headache-inducing.Lovely smell, both me AND my mom got it and love it (45 and 70 years old)My wife loved the scent. It has been a few years since she was able to find the correct Zen scent.It's a fresh beautiful smelling perfume! It's already on my Christmas list.
